I ordered the Flotec unit through Amazon but supplied by Northern Tool and received the Simer equivalent. I called Northern Tool and they said they don't carry the Flotec and it was a mix up with Amazon and themselves. Northern Tool offered to take it back, but I kept the Simer unit since I wanted to get the install done and they offered to refund the shipping ($23.xx). The Simer unit has been installed for about 3 weeks now and works great. I installed a large filter before the unit and 3 smaller filters after the unit with a pressure gauge after the 3 filters. Without the unit plugged in, the well pump cycled between 22 and 42 PSI. I plugged in the unit and now the pressure reaches about 68-70 PSI. There is a delay before the unit kicks in, sometimes longer than others, but it always kicks in. I wish I had installed one of these 3 years ago when I moved into this house. Side note.
